Q. Do I have to use this service to get my Free Oddity Web Store?
A. No! If you have a site now, just add a link to your new store.

Q. The name I want is taken. What do I do now?
A. It happens all the time. There are millions of sites out there. We suggest trying .biz instead of .com -or- adding your state like: candlecorner-PA.com or PA-giftbox.com.

Q. I already have a web site. Will you build me another one?
A. Sure! But why? Just put a link on your present site and save yourself a few bucks

Q. I don't like any of your designs. Can I sketch something up for you to build?
A. Sorry, in order to do this as inexpensively as possible we need our designs.

Q. I want to add more photos. Ok?
A. No. A page only holds so much so for now we need to stick to the designs.

Q. What if I want to change something later?
A. Good question! We will make moderate changes for you at a nominal charge.

Q. I don't want email. Do I have to take it?
A. No. But we recommend that you at least set up an email like: Customerservice@yoursite.com or assistance@yoursite.com so that when you answer an inquiry the mail will be addressed from your web site.

Q. Can I get more than one page?
A. Not at this time, but hang in there. After we get caught up maybe...

Q. Can I just put the charges on my Oddity account.
A. We accept credit card payments for this service. You will get payment instructions in your welcome email after you have registered.

Q. Can I cancel the service?
A. Sure, but we pay for the registration and hosting up front for the year. And the design and build is FREE so you won't get any refund. You can ask that your site be taken down though.

Q. What happens when the year is up?
A. You will be sent a notice prior to your service expiring. Just pay for another year and there won't be any interruption in service. If you do not renew your site it will go off line the day after your subscription expires. You may also lose your domain name.

Q. Should I advertise my new site?
A. On line, That's up to you. There is a lot of information on the web, and a lot of opinions. But you should put it on every piece of correspondence you have with anyone. Business cards, invoices, emails, product tags, every where you can!

Q. What about those search engine things?
A. We have added the necessary meta tags and index files for the search engines to "craw" your site. But by all means, log on to them and submit your address (url). Be careful of some of those "submission services", you may pay for something that is free or worthless. (just an opinion, feel free to form your own).

Q. Can I serve advertising for Google etc. on my site and make a few extra dollars?
A. Not really, you only have one page and it's not set up for subscription advertising.
